    Hey guys
Somewhat new to the blackberry world i owned a BB pearl awhile back for like 3 months but used it only for calling/text never added data to it so i never got the full use of the phone.

I just got my BB Bold 9700 today switched over from an iphone 3g. Loved everything about my iphone EXCEPT for i had to jailbreak to do anything customizable with it and apple always dropping lame excuses of OS updates just so to end up having to re-jailbreak and go through all the process again.

Liking the phone so far have to get use to the smaller/lighter size of the phone compared to my 3g.

quick question uma keeps showing up on my phones screen when i connect it to my home wifi well i though uma was a service only available if you added the $10 at home hotspot deal to your plan? which i never did. does it always just show up?

as i get more questions ill be sure to read the forums more or just ask you guys since ive noticed you guys are super helpful with all the new guys.

UMA is free and works automatically.

HotSpot@Home is for porting your landline number to WiFi calling.
