It's been a long four years since I have been a BlackBerry owner but I have returned. Android ran me off with the big brother feel, windows phone was great but it still felt like a marketing scheme and my love for the apple died with Steve. The last ios updates killed my connectivity to my pcs running ubuntu linux and itunes made me very angry. After research and a year under BB10's belt, I came back. My last BlackBerry was a curve.
I feel like I went from a jetta to a mercedes.

And now, with USB mass storage mode, we can transfer files from our BB10 device directly to Linux! This has been the best part about the 10.2.1 upgrade.

    And, of course, welcome!

I am stuck until the 10th for the official update but that makes it more exciting. The US carriers are so shareholder steered that they leave their customers in the dark.
I just installed k3.11 for ubuntu and im afraid to see how it reacts to my dead iphone. Lol

Yes It's been a while since I dabbled in Ubuntu Linux. Perhaps as you have come back to BlackBerry, I too should go back to a previous love. My Linux beast machine. Welcome to CB!

The great thing about current Linux OS's is that you can run them on dual-boot machines. You choose during bootup whether you want Linux or Windows. A bit of work to set it up, but after, it's a no-brainer.
