    Hi all!

My first BB was the 9320, around 2 years ago, I was always laughing with a co-worker, since he was using a BlackBerry and all the rest we had a smartphone, I always believed BlackBerry was a prehistoric phone, like trying to drive a car with stone wheels.
But, once I put my hand to a BlackBerry 9320, I was amazed, so amazed that I got one and left my Nexus apart. After that one I really wanted to get another BB, but they were to expensive compare to the competition, so I went back to a Nexus.
Black Friday I was able to get a BB Z10 here in NZ for NZ$299 (US $200 approx.), and I have to reckon that I love it, finally I found a smartphone with an awesome keyboard and the best notification center ever (I dont care if you can have 1 million apps or 40.000, I use the phone for emails, sms, calls, internet).

Now I need a secondary phone, so I am thinking to get the Q5 or even the old Bold 9900, I would love the Q10 but is too expensive.

    Good job man!
The z10 is a powerfull phone! Only battery isn't that good.
I have the combo z10 and a 9900 bold for the times i leave the country.
My friend than activates bis for 1 month, when i get back i just switch to my z10 again.

I can advice you to look for a 9900, it looks much better next to a q5. You can find it for a low price, or like me, fix 2 broken phones into 1 working phone for 80$ this can be possible!
I love it to go back and forward from bb10 to os7 for some weeks and than go back again.

The only thing you would need is a micro sim adaptor

Good luck with your phones and choise for a spare phone.

Well, i actually had a lot of luck.
I broke my 9900 because of water damage.
I called a friend where from i knew he also had a broken one. It finally seemed a small hick up on his phone. The top lock/unlock button was broken. Mine ofcourse wasn't...
Guess what... he wanted to give to me for free but i gave him 70.

Just took the bezel from my phone, took his off and placed mine on his phone. That was about it

So, maybe you could look on ebay for "broken phones". In belgium i found a few on a local site... they sell them 'just for parts'.

At last, for 150 you can buy used 9900 with warranty over here...

    I wish you good luck!
If you have any questions, you may ad my pin.
I know a few People in NZ
If phones from here are working over there, i could gave one with them..

I did what you suggested, Ordered a 9900 for $20 that the volume button is not working. Can't wait to receive it and use it as a secondary phone together with my Z10.
