Been looking at this site for over a year now, just never signed up for the forums... but I do have a question

About the new OS 4.5 for the Curve. The blackberry messenger allows you to add someone based on their email. It still is only for blackberry users, correct? I couldn't add someone with a yahoo email and talk to them through my blackberry messenger and their yahoo messenger?

Although you can add using email, it is still a PIN based application. Therefore a BB w/ a Pin is needed.
