So I woke up this morning and noticed my phone has the hourglass flickering on the screen every 5 seconds, seemed to be killing my battery. So I did a pull.


Kept my usage down to almost nothing and the hourglass came back. Pulled the battery again, and its back.

I have only been using BB messenger.

Can someone reply with the hot keys to show which apps are running so I can determine what is causing this issue?


Oh and last app I installed was crackberry app store and my file free is 17976975.

What apps do you have installed? Viigo? Facebook?

I have viigo, facebook, weather eye, and some more I rarily use.

Haven't touched viigo or facebook or anything except messenger since battery pulls.

Both Facebook and Viigo are notorious for killing your memory. I would recommend removing them to see if it resolves the problem. I have seen a lot of members that have an issue with Facebook lately.

Well the issue is battery, not memory.

I have had the same set up for 3 months and never an issue

Those apps don't just affect your memory. They can also affect your battery if they are constantly requesting/sending data.

Ill remove them all and re add them one by one and see if that fixes the issue.
