Got my first crackberry two weeks ago. Before that I was a casual basic cell user and T9 texter. Since getting my 8310 with data I'm addicted and find myself to be one of those I used to point and laugh at. To all those, I appologize. I didn't realize it's not a choice.. its a sickness.

Hello all,

My name is Gary and I'm a crackberry addict.

I picked my 8310 last Friday and stayed up pretty much all night exploring. Saturday night I fell asleep with it in my hand. (I thought it was pretty cool to check the weather report and check out the sports world w/o leaving my bed in the AM)

Since then I have picked up a soft Body Glove case, a screen protector/privacy screen, 4 gigs of memory and I deleted PTT, VAD and a few other apps I don't want. I also dowmloaded some pictures and hooked up my SOs phone number with her pic. (a smokin' hot pic to go with a smokin' hot phone!)

Due to my job I can't take my curve to work. (loss of security clearance, smoke filled room, cuffs etc....) Soooooo, I have to change out the SIM chip with my rat-like work phone. (I'm spoiled already by that big, beautiful qwerty keyboard!!) I figured I'd just swap chips on the weekend but.. .. .. that plan didn't work. As soon as I get home I swap chips, fire her up and try to learn something more about crackberrys each evening.

I'll be on vacation most of December and I can't wait.

Did I mention I like that big qwerty?? I text quite a bit and going back to my non PDA, non camera phone during the day is awful.

I took a look at a Blackjack as I was cruising through a store.. .. .. looks like junk to me, I think I made a good choice.

Also before I go, this is the first decent forum I have ever seen, usually is FLAME CITY. I look forward to learning and having fun.
