Hey guys, I HOPE my BB will be in my mailbox after work tomorrow. Ive been anticipating this day for a week. (Won on Ebay and seller forgot to ship.....)
Anyways, when I get my phone Im gonna call cust service over at AT&T and sign up for BB Unlimited Data plan.
My question is, Do i have to go into their BIS website and create an account after this is done or is it created for me automatically??
Basically what are my steps to set everything up after I get off the phone with AT&T?
Glad you could make it to the party, Welcome! You would need the PIN to set it up HERE or you can do it on the Berry through the setup wizard without logging to the BIS website.
Yeah, log onto the BIS website (att.blackberry.com) and follow the instructions on screen. Its gonna need your PIN and IMEI, so on the device go to Options, then Status. Then just follow the steps.
You can do it from the device but its not recommended.
While you have ATT on the phone while you're getting the data plan, you can also ask them to help you set it up. They might even do it for you if you ask nicely.
