I just received my BB Curve 8330 and it did not come with a software download to install on my pc. I went over to Blackberry.com and was going to just download it from there, but I don't know which download I actually need to download since it seems to have every phone listed but mine. Can you pros tell me which download I need for my BB Curve 8330 so I can sinc it with my pc? When I get to the download screen at bb.com it says "Please select a product", but my "product" isn't listed. Please help!

I've been using Desktop Manager 4.7 as well and it's been running just fine.

Here's some more threads that are good on the upgrade procedure:

    http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...cations-53201/

Here's the way I used to do an upgrade:

I followed the JLcommander Wipe and deleting the vendor.xml procedure.

    http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/prop...ocedure-53359/
    http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...l_cmder-53502/

The way I do it now, quicker but more decisions to make:

    Using CrackMem... http://forums.crackberry.com/f35/cra...eleased-52044/

CrackMem you choose the delete Vendor.xml in the process.

    Procedure for upgrades is:
    1. Uninstall the older version from the PC
    2. Install the newer OS to the PC.
    3. Change the theme on the device to carrier default.
    4. Run CrackMem, make desired changes
    5. Close CrackMem.
    6. Run Desktop Manager.
    7. Plug in BB
    8. When prompted to upgrade, click OK
    9. Choose "Advanced", so individual OS changes can be made.
    10. Begin

During the upgrade, the device is wiped.
