Been reading bout all the GPS apps available for the bb. Tried several but keep getting connection problems.

According to GPS in Options, my unit is connected to GPS.

I do not have data package and no MediaNet. Can that be the reason for inability to get maps in GPS apps?

Is there something else i might have not done right?
