Ok I'm not exactly new to BB's. I've had a curve for a year now and just switched to the Tour.
I've seen alot of people in the forums complaining about this feature or mistake in the OS of the Blackberry's but I've grown fond of it. there are a lot of threads that explain how to fix it through filters
When you send an email either from device or the online account or Microsoft Outlook for that matter, a copy of the sent message (which is destined for your Sent Items folder) comes to your device.
I like this because when I'm not near my computer I can easily see sent items that haven't been responded to yet, so I know who I've contacted and have that email available. It occurred automatically on the Curve but now that I'm on the Tour it appears to have been corrected.
