Download Google Maps, Setup your e-mail, Setup your ringtones, download Empower, put the Crackberry wap link on your home screen (this should be done first), kiss your blackberry, sync it up with your computer and get familiar with the syncing functions, hug your Blackberry, and download ESPN mobile, and a cool new theme! I'm all about getting my shortcuts optimized - hide the unused ones, get my top row set in the order i always use them, and never waiver.. every new berry i get i always arrange them the same way
oh, and though it's not a setting thing, i'm an accessories lover. need a good case immediately (i like seidio's holster for my curve) , NEED a memory card if you want to have any fun with your berry, and i'm all about the bluetooth. have a Bluant Supertooth speakerphone for the car, and have a jawbone and blueant z9 lying around for everyday use and motorola s9s for the gym
