That's normal because you can't always restore with 100% guarantee. It's better to install without restoring as well to make the leak more bugless (that's what I and other members have noticed).

For me I put all my notes and stuff on the evernote app within remember so you just need to suign your account and it's all there.

Contacts: I now use Contact X which is a paid app it's like $1.99 or you can you intouch app which is the free version. They both just put your contacts on a cloud so when you access it you can pull the contacts from it.

Apps they all save on "My Account" on BlackBerry world so that's not and issue either

I highly recommend 10.2.1.0.1055 leak it's the best one. I don't have any bugs with it. It seems like only the people with Z10s have bugs that I've read on the forums.
Just follow the instructions that they have and you will be find. Just be willing to put 1-2hours of your time in doing your phone the first time.
Once you're there check the beta leak section for all the new features.
APKs direct install if definity the most popular but there is like 50 new things from 10.2

Battery life is amazing on the Q10 for 10.2.1. Notice i'm at 100-75% over half of the day. That's because of the APKs mostly they love to hog battery but my phone lasts for 3 days easily without playing android games, insta, snap, my fitness pal etc.. 2 days with.

Thanks for your suggestions and advice. Most of the time, i have faced issues with my Password Keeper, GPS favorites and Text messages during upgrade. I am gonna try the Berry Leaks Password keeper option for backing up the data. I know a lot of users are supporting 1055 leak since it provides some awesome features. I'm definitely going to try it sometime in the run.

That's a great news. Because Most of the time, before noon my battery almost reach half because of my GPS usage and Bluetooth connection to my car devices.

Thank you for all other welcome messages :-)

Well your in luck man. New password keeper is here and in beta.

My phone also always has wifi/bluetooth on because it's easier when your phone automatically connects.

But good thing with 10.2.1 you can custimze your quick options menu so you can do it at a click of a button if you wanna conserve battery. The bottom pic shows that I can check the box of the ones I want in my quick menu and the up/down arrow is moving the buttons within the quick menu

Thanks and again the features looks awesome. Have you ever tried to use Mobile hotspot in this leak? Because that's another most important tool for me.

No I haven't, I have no use for it sorry.

If you ask that question in beta OS they will answer for you for sure
