If it is an encrypted/protected DVD, you will probably need a program to break that and rip it to your computer, but I can't attest to the legality of this. Then you'll need a program to convert the DVD's vob file to mp4 or avi in 320x240 resolution or smaller (on a Curve). Then transfer it to your media card.

I use a program called Cucusoft that I originally bought for my Ipod. It is super easy to use and was around $30
