Have you activated the device with a Blackberry Data Plan? That's the only way you will get the BB Browser....

Hello, I am a newbie too.

Got my pearl on ebay as well and am presently looking around for the best plan from 02.

The Browser is there if you go to the applications screen and hit the menu key and select switch applications. Having said that it will not work until you get a BB data plan.
