Hello I am very new to my blackberry (curve 8330) and I noticed this morning, while using the web browser, that I was not being notified of incoming calls, messages, or voice-mails. I say this because after I finished using the browser, closed it and then used my phone it was only then that I had been notified of messages, and voice-mails I had received when I was using the browser. To verify I had a friend call me while the browser was up and it did go right to voice-mail as if the phone was not on. Is this inherent to the phone or is there a setting thatI can adjust to be notified of calls (at the very least) while using the browser.

    Thank you for your help

I just say a similar post, but it was with the messenger. On GSM you can only use data or voice, you need 3G to do both at the same time. This might be your problem.

It was my understanding that voice took priority over data. For instance if you are loading a web page, you could receive a phone call. The network would just pause your data.
