I thought that this was sort of a newbie question but will the Blackberry Curve 8900 be comming to Verizon?

I bought the Storm but im wondering if getting a touchscreen device was a wise choice. buyers remorse and I dont even have it yet. Anyway the more I research blackberry devices the more I think I would rather have the Curve with a regular keyboard then a touchscreen.

so right now im debating between the 8900 if it comes to verizon or the 8330.

any suggestions?

The 8330 is sweet and the 8900 even sweeter. The screen reolution is definitely a plus on the 8900. But what am I saying... The 8900 will likely be a while yet on Verizon (though don't know when) and the 8330 is an awesome BB which you will enjoy a lot. If you are looking at a contract / upgrade issue, you always have the option of buying a second hand Verizon 8330 to keep you satisfied until something even sweeter comes along... That is if you even find the need to upgrade at that point.

well if its going to be awhile until its released then maybe I will just grab the 8330 in January if the storm doesnt work out. Thanks for the reply

First and foremost I'd love to have a storm! However I work in public safety and would have to live in a cardboard box to afford one at the moment, hoever it may be worth it

I understand your concerns about the touch screen, especially first generation. I'm not knocking the storm at all, but that seems to be a normal in the wonderful world we live in.

Now the curve...The 8330 is amazing to say the least, it made me the crackberry addict that I am today. I've put the phone itself through its paces, drop it, have spillage on it (dried it out of corse), and it keeps going. Its a good choice.

This will be my first blackberry. its nice to know that they can take a beating and still keep on truckin.

I had the Pearl for about ten days. I took it back yesterday and got the Curve.

All I can say ever since is WOW!
