Hi, I know I'm a bit behind both phones being out for a while, but i've been offered a choice and as i've had iphone before and they are very good and I do like having a touch screen but as ive been using a 9320 and I'm enjoying the whole blackberry experience. As i've said I prefer touch screen phones (Z10 one day) any one got any thoughts?

Hard to say... if you like the smoother app switching and the focus more on messaging, go with the BB 9860.
If you like games at all, go with the iPhone.

I believe the 9860 has higher screen res than iPhone 3GS, if that's a factor for you.

Or ask if you can kick a small amount of $$$ personally and just get that Z10 right from the start!

The BlackBerry 9860 is more modern then the Iphone 3gs, it also has better specs. Comparing both phones on paper, I say the 9860 win easily over the 3gs. What makes the Iphone a better choice is that you will have beautiful apps and WAY better looking games compared to the BlackBerry .

Do you want a more modern phone with better specs or you want to have a better ecosystem and good games to play along?

One thing I really like about the 9860 is that it never really was a mainstream phone, I really need saw it in the wild so you would also have a rare phone.

think i'll go for the bb, got the better specs and i travel so the bigger screen better for watching films plus memory expandable and like you say not everyone will have one. cheers

...welcome to CrackBerry. I do think coming from an iOS device, the Z10 would work just fine. But, I'm also close to getting a Q10. That's mainly because I miss my 9900
