    I think there are a couple stickies on loud ringtones in the 8830 forum.

    Try checking there. I honestly don't have an issue with volume, but maybe I just got lucky.

    They're the posts that are highlighted at the top of a forum.

    For example, from the crackberry website, go to forums, then 8830 forums, then at the top there will be a few threads that are "stuck" at the top for everyone to see first.
