Hello CB Nation. I recently received a BB z10 for Christmas and wanted to share my return to BB with CB nation. I was a past BB user. I started with the pearl 8100, and moved up gradually to other BB devices. Here's a few of them that I can remember,The Curve 8300,Bold 9000,storm 9530,tour 9630, curve 9300, torch 9810, bold 9900, Playbook. As a BB user I had gone through the usual hangups that BB users go thorough such as bad track balls, broken charge ports, buggy os's, the terrible hour glass. I entertained myself by experimented with loading different os's and tinkering with the devices. Then in 2011 after dealing with the the usual BB hangups and the Playbook fiasco (PlayBooks initial release lacked native e-mail, contacts and calendar apps) I said that's it. I won't ever touch another Blackberry again. I then went on a smart phone journey that took me to WP, iOS and Android. During my time away from BB, I never felt completely satisfied as I did with BB. I kept updated with BB news by visiting the Crackberry site from time to time.

During this time away from BB, I tried to immerse myself into the various other OS. I constantly added APPS, upgraded OS's, jailbroke my iPhone, rooted my android phones and constantly switched between Android devices. However despite all this, I felt something was missing. Then recently my wife said to me. When you had a BB you seemed to be happier and you didn't switch phones so often. I said you're right. So I went on CB to browse and saw B1aze's post "Grab yourself an unlocked BlackBerry Z10 for only $200 with no contract". I mentioned it to my wife and she said honey why don't I get you a z10 for Christmas. You always seemed so happy with BB. I agreed and today I'm happily using my z10. BB10 is truly a big leap from the old BB. I now realize that I was looking for something different to satisfy me but I had it all along. The sad thing was I didn't realize it. I should have been patient and waited for BB10. I want to Thank my wife,Blackberry and Crackberry nation for helping me return to BB. Happy Holidays to all.

10.2.1.1925 is the most stable leak I have used thus far. We had a rare situation where 2 leaks came out less than a week apart but were a month apart development wise. The older leak gave me some issues with wifi and was a bit slow but was pretty stable otherwise. Then 10.2.1.1925 came out and I hesitated and thought it was no different. I ran into my wifi issue again on Tuesday. Basically if I walked away from a wifi hotspot it would notify my of a weak signal and then get stuck and not be able to switch to mobile data. So I loaded up 10.2.1.1925 and it fixed everything and is blazing fast. It is a really very fast OS. It is not just stable it could be a release candidate in my opinion. Enjoy the leaks.

    Welcome back Vel!

Go to the Android Forum and do some reading about loading Androids Apps via the Amazon App Store - no guarantees everything will work, but it is so easy to get your one or two 'must haves' that may not exist on OS10

PS- this only applies to OS versions 10.2.1.xxxx

Kamika007z thanks for your post. I truly am blessed with a good wife and she knows me well enough to steer me to what makes me really happy. Interesting thing ive notice that some people outside of crackberry nation think BB fans are rabid folks who dont want to change. I see individuals that like devices that suit their needs and dont conform to what others say. Thanks again for the kind comments.

Welcome back Vel! Yes do install the leak, you won't be disappointed, it solves a major MAJOR problem, the app gap. Many of us feel the BB10 UI is superior, that's why we have it, BUT we hate the fact that some of our favorite apps have shunned us and just are not available as native BB10 apps or as authorized android ports in the BB App World. Well with 10.2.1 this no longer matters, 90% of the Android apps (I'm probably exaggerating, BUT just about every app I have tried has worked) out there now can easily be installed on our devices via the browser or a 3rd party app store like Amazon or Snap.
