To the best of my knowledge, there is no internal backup log.
If your device was unlocked and fell into the hands of a third party, there is nothing to prevent them from making a backup of your data.
However, is somebody was inclined to steal your data, they are unlikely to return your device. More then likely, it was found by an innocent second party and you go it back.
