    Hello everyone
I have bought second hand blackberry curve 8310 which is locked on O2.
Everithing looks OK and there is no message on screen that phone is locked and it seems ok.
I have bought PAYG sim on O2 and phone accepts it but when i try to make call i always have message "call failed"
Is it possible the phone to be blocked because is been reported lost or stolen?
is there any easy way to find out that.
    Or perhaps is faulty?
I am very new with this phones and maybe they cant work with normal sim cards or need some special settings before use?
Please if anybody have any idea or sugestion i will be very gratefull.
This phone looks very nice and i dont wont to throw it away.
    thanks

Call your provider, the ESN number needs to be released by the previous owner. Good luck.
