10 Posts Without Being a Troll
- Hi there, CrackBerry community. I'm new to the phone and the website, and I already love both. It's hard not to. But one thing is crazy frustrating. You have to have 10 posts to do anything. I keep trying to upload photos, links, etc. and none of the features work. So it's hard trying furiously to come up with ideas and replies without trolling all over the site and making a bad first impression.
There should be a special thread just to do that for newbies like us.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to wasting a lot of time on this site!04-24-09 09:38 PMLike 0 - I have only seen a few lately that are doing that (ex. mauro99). I like to see how many posts various people have made - I'm not taking advice from somebody who is a newbie fresh out of the box04-25-09 09:04 AMLike 0

For instance, I have lurked for a long time, but only recently began posting so my post count is low, but I have worked with bb for 4 years now starting as a sales rep with no knowledge, to a bb technician, and now a bb specialist in my company.
On the flip side, there are other posters that have over 2000 posts that post complete and utter nonsense. One specific who I will not name seems to troll the 8100 section posting ridiculous info that I know to be completely false, or just a ******** guess.
Anyway, good luck to you OP, and welcome to the site.04-25-09 10:20 AMLike 0 - I think that's what he is getting at. Without a certian number of posts, people don't take you seriously. I almost wish post count was not available to see on this website do to the fact that people take that kind of attitude. Though I understand what you mean, you could be passing up valuable information simply because the user just signed up.

- The key to posting is that you step up and try to help where you can, and recognize that some will appreciate it, others won't. Some of the folks are in dire straights and need some major help, others a gentle nudge or reminder, and some really need a good laugh.
Take a deep breath and diver in, the water's fine!

+1 for being honest and informative.
