I am running this hybrid since yesterday noon. Discharge was about 7% after installation, I fully charged the battery overnight. Five hours since unplugged with moderate use for Twitter, Calls and Emails, discharge rate did not jump above 3.9%.

So install it and be patient. Give it at least 24 hours to settle. and let us know how things are gone for you.

Great so far, installed a little over an hour ago. The only thing is, even though I know I installed the hybrid, in both About and Help, it's showing .810, not .886. I double-checked with BBSAK and I saw all of the other files from 6.0 and .886, but still, nothing in the About screen. I don't know if this means it didn't properly install, or maybe I installed the wrong .810 OS (I installed US Cellular and not Alltel), but it's just something that was bugging me. Great hybrid though!

Alright, I've had it for over a day, and I can say I see a little improvement in battery life, but for me it seems to slow up the phone a little bit. I might have installed something wrong, since it was my first hybrid, but that's what I'm experiencing. Thanks for the hard work though!

I haven't seen any slowness at all. You might want to wipe the phone with bbsak and reload everything

Are you losing reception? Does the phone go to X and searching cdma?

With this hybrid, generally speaking, is there any significant improvement in browser speed, battery life, and reception?

Hybrids cannot change reception. They can only use the radio code of the base OS.

The browser is pretty smooth, probably a bit faster than the official OSes but you aren't going to see any massive differences regardless of what hybrid you run. Battery life seems solid.

Thanks for the insight and feedback. Installing OS as I type.
