Hybrids. A relic from BlackBerry' past.

A hybrid is a frankenstein OS. Composed of bits from different builds (some from the device it's intented to be installed, some from other devices, some newer than the official OS, some older but more efficient) that focus on delivering an overall better experience.

What must you do: Read the thread to see what the brewer (the guy that put the hybrid together tells you to do). They usually state very clearly if the hybrid needs a base OS (official OS to be used with, where you overwrite some files with the ones in the hybrid's ZIP) or it's a full install. If it needs a base OS, the version info will also be there.

That all said, if it's a 9900 hybrid and you have a 9900 device, it is all good.

    Best of luck!

EDIT: That's, according to the thread, is a full OS.
