Yes, you can run RC10 or Xmas Edition, use base .746 with .714 fat sfi or 746 sfi, for bbm7 just open up the blackberry massenger alx.(comes with the hybrids) With note pad and change "Dakota" to "Armstromg".

Personally I recommend you to try Xmas Edition.

    Damn it.

Just installed RC10 alpha last night and had issues with it. turns out I used the wrong base and device was messed up.

finally installed over the correct base working sweet as a nut.

I thought the Xmas edition was RC10.

Silly me. Oh well. To install or not to install????

What are the main differences between RC10A1 and the X-Mas Edition? I've downloaded both but haven't installed any yet, still running RC9A1.

AFAIK Sator mixed in a few cods from 749, thus making it smoother.....compared to RC10 this is a lot more 'fluid' browser is always fast as on any RC release, settled in about 3-4 days nicely!

    A job well done Sator!!

If you had taken the trouble to look two posts up you would have seen that in post 6962 the poster reports installing Xmas Special on his 9320.

    How hard was that ???

Just download a .714 OS and install it, copy the .sfi into a folder and save it for future use then uninstall the OS.

Do you have a working hybrid for the BlackBerry Curve 9310 running on OS version 7.1.0.477?
OS version 7.1.0.746 has been removed from RIM's site and most 9310 owners are stuck on Boost's stock OS. (Such as I.)

You need to download a jAllLang version for the "Fat" .sfi

The MultiLang has the small .sfi

Yea. I kinda should have checked the forums as *soon* as that Visafone build was released to catch it, but alas procrastination.

I did try a BL build on my BB running the stock OS. It bricked it. (Figures since I didn't have the recommended base. ...I thought I'd give it a try.)

How easy is it to make a hybrid? I may end up making one some day.

    Hi Sator

Any chance that you could work your magic for the Curve 9310 community with a BL Ultimate Special ??

Tis the time of year for giving after all and it does seem as though they are getting a bum deal from RIM if .477 is the latest available OS they have !!!
