If I wanted to run RC8 Alpha 1 on 7.1.0.523 would it be a problem?
It would be a problem, for sure. Its build for 746/714 and i believe it couldnt work with base from .523. Correct me if im wrong...

Thanks for helping me out while i was busy with that answer.

As BoldAlways say the build will not like the OS files from anything lower than 714.

If you decide to try then it may produce some very random results that we cannot support.

Sup guys I have a question for everyone who DOESN'T OWN a Bold 9790 or anything above it (9900/9930 etc.), what's your ADR because I don't seem to get any ADR below 10% unless if I don't have BIS that's when I get rates like 6%. I've tried lots of hybrids but the ADR is forever high, as I type this post it's sitting on 20.6%/hr and there are no apps running, no downloads running, no texts, no emails nothing but it's high. I've used suggested OS's, SFI's even used my Carrier's OS and SFI but still no difference. Could it be that my Battery is small and all or that doesn't really have an effect on the ADR? As it seems people running on 9790, 9900, 9810 and those kinda phones get pretty low ADRs which make me jealous a little lol. Oh and I use a Curve 9360, currently running on RC7B2 + my Carrier's .714 Base and OS. Please help anyone, even if you don't own an entry level Blackberry7 phone.
    Torch 9810
    I get 3-4% without BIS

    2% when idle
And 6-7% with wifi on and heavy whatsapping

Hi Everyone, Is there any work around to install RC8A1 on BB9930 with 7.1.0.755 as base?
    Thanks

I think the BL team is working with some .755 files. Not sure if it's the whole base though.

Sorry guys, i have been busy and Sator is away currently,

Beta 1 is in test but as it needs a few patches it will need to wait till
    Sator returns from his break.

Dude, no need to apologize. Just wanted to know how far off it was. Seems like it'll take some time, installing RC8A1 now...

Any chance you guys can fix the calendar problem

I have downloaded your latest hybrid OS for my BB9900 and it is working great so far. The only complaint I have is the calendar bug. Coming from the 9700 i would always have my Calendar set to Monthly view and my days would start at 4am and end at 11pm. In my 9700 when i clicked on any random day that I had an appointment, it would take me the first appointment in that day for example if it was 5pm it would go straight to that appointment. But in the 9900 and all the OS i have tried it goes straight to 4am which is the start of my day and i have to scroll all the way down to the first appointment.

Is there any way you can fix this?

    Thanks

I don't think it's a bug. Inside calendar, check under the options. There are alternate calendar views. I believe that the one you have is agenda but am going from memory. There are lots of alternatives and you can set the default view to whatever you want.

That did NOT answer my question, I'm well aware of how to change views. That is not the issue!

I'm afraid I can't change it, since all OS 7.1's calenders are like that.
