Everytime I try to install the update my Dell says something like In order for BlackBerry Desktop Manager ...... Blah C++++++ must be installed. I click OK and all goes away

No update. I have no odea what it's talkimg about or jow to install C++++ so and so. Crap.

the runtime c++ is installed by the update itself. ive ever heard of it saying the update or installation is needed then not install it itself.

Chrisy, I'm getting the same thing, running XP Pro on an old Dell XPS. Will try on the Vista laptop and report back. I know, my stuff is...not quite cutting edge.

i couldnt update because i do not have microsoft visual c + + installed.. so i installed it and ran the update again. but still i cant due to the same problem. any ideas?
