If not TMO it will be by another company that utilizes those same radios and would be 98% Tmobile compatible. Cant wait.

I'm putting a thread together here, and some of the information in this Berry Reporter link doesn't seem correct:

-STA100-9, according to Bla1ze, has been dropped (plus, if you look closely, it's the same as STA100-2. Besides, China doesn't use FDD LTE.)
-The STA100-4 listing may be screwed up. For one, it does not have the proper CDMA bands listed. That should read 800/1900. Second, band 12 LTE should probably read band 13.

Anyway, to answer your question, IF my information (which I got from Bla1ze...who probably got it from the same source Berry Reporter got it from) is correct, there are five Z30 models, and four (!) of them are fully compatible with TMO.

Strike one from the list. STA100-5 does not have TMO's LTE band, only the '4G' HSPA+ band.

Just because there is a model being made (maybe it will be made) that will work with TMO bands, that does not mean TMO will be getting it. Other carriers use those bands too in N. America.

I'll check their website tomorrow, and let you know. They don't seem to have device specs on there right now. As it stands right now, we expect the Telus model to have TMO's bands as well.

You can buy one from Telus (and most likely Bell also) in Canada, but it'll be locked.

Unfortunately, not necessarily. It just means that BB chose to consolidate and keep just one model for North American GSM carriers (Rogers/Bell/Telus/AT&T/T-Mobile/WIND, etc.)
