I have 8-10 different ways I have been given on how to enter the code to unlock the z10 easily with no complication. I have the correct code for sure.Bought it online and double checked with the original network provider AT T. I burned through 7 tries, listening . Put in a Verizon sim card,or any non- At t sim card, one guy says put in a valid AT T sim card, another says T Mobile Sim card, with the wifi radio off,a couple others say no sim at all is needed to unlock it.Others say take it to a corporate AT T store. What is the method for doing this properly? Are there any truths out there. I'm going to have a worthless z10. by the way more advice is to just keep my own carrier sim in,huh? Anybody been there done that.I can't afford to burn anymore attempts. Why so many different answers..

    1. Turn on Your Blackberry
    2. Go to "Settings" then "Security and Privacy"
    3. Select "SIM card"
    4. Choose "Unlock Network"
    5. Phone will ask for "Network Unlock Code"
    6. Now enter 8 or 16 digit code given to you
    7. Your BlackBerry is unlocked now

You don't really need a SIM in the device or any of that other nonsense.

    Bla1ze is absolutely correct.

The issue isn't that you are entering the code wrong, but you seem to have a wrong code, or there is something wrong with your phone.

try asking the company you got the code from to try reprocessing it for you.

No, the "Unlock Network" button should be a hint.
