i would venture to guess server problems.. who knows, who cares.. as long as its fixed.
It is not World Wide, in Canada, all my emails are coming through regularly.
Here in Idaho, mine never stopped working.
But, like Kev said, if it's fixed, just smile & move on with your life. :)
I have noticed here iin Mississippi (MS) that everytime I turn around my BlackBerry service is off. I have 3G, but no BlackBerry... So far it has been like this for 3 days.
Thank God for WiFi... LOL
Anyone else in the MS area notice any outages on the Verizon service?
Thanks,
msblueline
I'm n michigan right now. And my emails aren't coming in

BIS is very erratic in Singapore.
I am with SingTel (Singapore Telecoms)
Emails (Gmail and Yahoo) seems OK, but am unable to send messages through BBM.
I cant even connect to the blackberry network... i have 3G but no blackberry symbol :(
AFAIK the BIS-E issues were confined to EMEA. Not global. That's not to say there wasn't a cascade effect impacting other services though. RIM's unacceptably tightlipped about their non-scheduled outages, so it's likely we won't have a post-mortum until someone leaks it.
Bet the new BBM upgrade was the culprit!! LOL
I'm on Starhub and it's working fine. No issues.
However, Celcom-Vodafone (Johor Bahru, Malaysia) is having tons of problem with sending PIN and BBM messages.
I'm in Indonesia. BBM has been problematic since yesterday afternoon. No problems with emails and browsing.
My carrier just informed their BlackBerry users that this BBM problem affects 80% of users inthe whole Asia Pacific region, and that RIM is currently investigating this issue.

The vast majority (if not all) of North America users were experiencing issues, as reported here and in national news in the US and Canada.
