You actually don't need to pay anyone. Simply call your carrier,
tell them you are traveling out of the country and wish to use a
prepaid SIM in your destination. They will give to you, for FREE
and if necessary walk you through the process. I have done this
numerous times without fail.

Aha!! Now I do. But the person who owns the Bold can take of it prior to the
transfer of devices, if that is the direction they are going.
