I live in Oregon and every Verizon store I been into doesn't have blackberry on display to play with. I really want to try the classic, but I only found one store where they had one classic in a box but nothing on display :/

Is it a catch 22 that you don't simply call ahead and ask before wasting time and going? If the store doesn't, ask them if they know of another store or call their head office and ask.

2 of the stores near me always have a Classic on display to play with. In fact one of the employees on one store owns a Classic as his personal phone.

I'm on T-mo, but had the same issue when my wife wanted a classic. Called one store and they passed me to another (not far away) which was considered a "high traffic" store. They had it on display, and in stock. College age woman knew the phone inside out, got all my wife's contacts etc transferred over and up and running in a few minutes.

I have a Classic and love it! If you every tried the 9900 bold and liked it you will be ok!
