The next Verizon BB release is quite a ways off. Is there a reason as to why you don't want an 8330? All Verizon BB's have 3g.

Every CDMA Blackberry has 3g. The GSM Curve does not have 3g. Sadly the 8900 won't have it either.

Verizon does not want to release any device that has wifi. They specifically asked RIM to remove wifi from the Storm for their release.

Because Verizon is greedier and feels the need to charge you for everything a device can do. Traditionally, only GSM devices have wifi.

i read somewhere here that the niagra (cdma version of the 8900) would be a 3g phone with wifi when it comes out for verizon this coming year!

The niagra is the CDMA version of the bold essentially. More realistically, it is RIMs upgrade from the 8830. The curve 8900 (or 8930) will have 3g for sure and wifi is not confirmed I believe. Neither will most likely be released 6-9 months from now since their GSM counterparts are both now officially released.

i believe storm is the only BB with REV A 3G the rest are REV O. Who needs WIFI when i pay for data and all smartphones/BB have a data package now

I stated this in another forum but it needs to be clarified what the niagra is going to be. If its the CDMA version of the javelin, than that makes it a new cdma curve since the javelin ended up being a curve 8900. If its not, then will it replace the 8830 WE or is it a CDMA version of the bold for at&t?
