Vodacom BB Service/Roaming Update?
I'm currently living in Cape Town, South Africa operating my phone on a Vodacom Pre-Paid Airtime and BB Data SIM card. I"m originally from the States and am used to my Verizon Service which I've found to be Very consistent and reliable however here I've found that my service goes in and out without any obvious reason... one minute I'll have a strong signal the next Zip.
I'm wondering if it's because I need to update the roaming capabilities on my Storm since I've switched out the SIM Card from a Verizon Card to a Vodacom Card. With Verizon I could do this by dialing *228 ...
Does anyone know of a service number I should call to refine my service availability while in Cape Town with Vodacom? And/Or does anyone have any tips in General about using my BB on the South African Vodacom network?
