Virgin Mobile (canada) refusing to activate unlocked phones?
Hello, I just got off the phone with Virgin to find out:
They will not activate any unlocked phones, even if they're compatible, and the esn is clear because "they will not work on our network, unless they're a 'virgin' branded phone".
I insited to the rep that yes they will but that obviously got me no where.
What's the deal with this, I know it's all about them wanted you to buy into a contract, but is there anything I can do to get this phone activated with them? Does anybody have experience in dealing with virgin for this issue?
