Looks like Verizon isn't mentioning it in the BF ads. Still hadn't been through the FCC either.

Sounds more and more like soon means next year! Too bad if that's true that they won't be able to capitalize on the holiday sales. Poor planning on someone's part

Here's what they told my co-worker. She still rocks a 9930. She went in to give up her Unlimited plan last week, and she was offered all these other phones. But she told the rep she didn't wanna give up her Keyboard. The rep said, they would get the new BlackBerry beginning in December. So let's hope it means the first week of December. Needless to say, my coworker is waiting on the Priv while still on her 9930.

December also jives with what the T-Mobile rep said and John Chen's comment on the AT&T exclusive being "most" of the year.

OK so let's say a 1 month or 30 day exclusive to ATT. Monday Dec 7th then? Makes sense to me.

Exactly! If it were that close one would think something would have been announced already. If anything, just to keep people interested

I really want to know the date so I can grab one asap, because I suspect many Verizon stores will sell out 1st day! Given their recent history with BlackBerry they will likely stock very conservatively first time around...

I was at a corporate store yesterday and they said they only heard that it might be coming. No date or any other information. So basically they knew nothing of it.

You know, Every time I put my Z30 away, I end up dragging it back out. (Which is a pain, because all my other phones are nano sims.) It's just so damn effective.

I would LOVE to see a Priv minus the keyboard, making the phone superslim. I would be first in line for that phone.

Listen, I'm no conspiracy theorist, but after watching Verizon's interactions with all companies NOT named Apple, I wonder if Verizon isn't secretly submarining Windows Phone and BlackBerry. If you really look at what has transpired over the past few years, They make BlackBerry and RIM jump through hoop after hoop. They have killed both platforms by delaying software updates for months, sometimes permanently. Just terrible what Verizon has done to eliminate consumer choice.

I think it is the other way around. If they want to remain a viable company and sell a phone everyone wants, then they will do whatever Apple wants them to do so they can get and sell their products. Apple has that much power. Look what they did to Sprint a few years ago by making them spend a ridiculous amount on iPhones ahead of sales.
