Has anyone found any benifit from using the 8330 Boost Mobile 5.0 update on there Sprint 8330? I'm debating still but I'm reading it shouldn't cause issues, not to say it won't though! Thoughts?

I haven't had any problems with it so far! I really LOVE the threaded SMS. Getting the 8520 themes on it look nice as well.
i would go for the update as long as you know you have an 8330 and not an 8330m
bluetooth issue solved...just delete from your cars setup and re-do...or if you use an ear-piece delete that device from your berry and re-load...
btw us 8330 cats can grab 8530 themes??????:D
Got my wife an 8330 from Sprint via BB this last summer... whats the best way to identify if its an 8330 or an 8330m?
On mine it lists it as an 8330m in the About screen.

I bought my 8330 from Sprint in December. My screen only says 8330 but mine has a MEID number, not an ESN number. Mine is a 8330M.
Oh my goodness.
If you don't know the answer to why move from 8330 to 8530 then you get an iphone
Or an android phone ... Go "cake" lol
I say this with utmost respect OP :-)

yea!!! any crackberry addict would be all over a new berry!!!!
Feb 1st is my anniversary and I've got crazy choices to make on a new berry!!!
So this wouldn't work for 8330m's im taking it we are still left to wait :/
whats the difference??? i have the M
edit: nevermind got it, thanks.
I don't think the wait for the m's 5.0 update will be too long since Boost is the one that put 5.0 out, and they are owned by Sprint. When the m first came out, and had the true mms, I was so jelous that I didn't have one, now I'm kind of happy I don't. I love the threaded mms.
So where do u get the download???
