I am leaving in June for a 3 week trip to England. I use a curve 8330, which isn't suppose to work in England, so my brother is going to loan me his 8830 to take over there.

My question is can I get the 8830 to work with a UK orange sim card or some carrier over there?

What did you end up doing with your 8830? I'm headed to the UK for 3 months in a little while and want to bring my Bold...not sure on the best course of action as far as carriers/plans.

You may want to check in the at&t/Cingular forums since he has verizon he was on a different plan and such.
