I think my question is fairly simple.
If I am already on AT&T and my new BB is an AT&T unit, is there any need for me to unlock my BB?
Personally, I don't see a reason for it.

If you ever want to go to another gsm carrier, then it would be a benefit.

but if you lose an unlocked one anyone with a sim card can use it...
with verizon and locked...
you lose it ... it becomes totally unusable
