Just a quick question and the answer may be simple, but I'm planning on unlocking my 8900 on the t-mobile network in the near future. I will still use it with t-mo, but I was wondering if there is anyone out there that's unlocked it and if the phone is still functioning to it full capacity or if it has become problematic after the unlock?

Call T-Mobile... they do it for FREE and it's usually sent within 24 hours, just tell them you are thinking about traveling overseas in the near future.

Yes. I had a 8310 that was an AT&T BB. Bought it off ebay, called AT&T from Canada and told them I needed to unlock it, they gave me the code over the phone within 2 mins. I wasn't even an AT&T customer.

I have just purchased a Blackberry Curve 8900 from ebay and it is currently locked to Orange. I wish to unlock it and use it with O2. How do I do this?

Do I contact Orange and asked for my unlock code or do I contact O2?

I am a customer with O2. Any help would and advice would be great
