yea hate to say your wrong but either or the 9500/9530 both will work on ATT/T-Mo once unlocked...then just load generic att service books and you will be up and running with EDGE only (well just a few more steps than that but..)

Running 9500 with ATT and no problems at all

Would it not be worth it to just get a 9700?!? What is the point of running a "3g" device in 2g mode because of your location? The refurb phone prices are reasonable and quality is eqal or better than new out of the box units.

I currently have a Blackberry Storm 9530 I have been using on AT&T for the past few months. It is unlocked, and is working using edge. However I got home today, and it suddenly won't let me send MMS. I have had this feature working for a few months, and no problems until now. Suddenly it reads "No MMS Service Record, message cannot be sent." I tried reseting the service books, but no luck.

No service record = missing service book.

    The solution is rather obvious.
