    I recently got a wind mobile blackberry bold 9700 unlocked, and am using it with my rogers sim, but i am now i am having problems with my bbm, anyone know why this problem might be arising?

    Need more details on problems, OS vershion, app version etc.

    Also did you restore a old db from another phone? If you do a complete copy over / restore from a older os version to new one I have had this issue.

    Backup on imp stuff - contacts, sms, pin, email, calendar. Load MCP, delete JVM, Wipe phone, Load latest stable OS. Then restore selective backup.

    WIll fix.

    I am using v5.0.0.344, and i went from an iphone to a blackberry.. for some reason my data in general is not working, would this be something i would call rogers about or should i just try to restore my phone?

    The iPhone data plan doesn't work with a BB data plan, although it does work the other way around. BB data is "different" in that it's proprietary, unlike the iPhone, which is just raw data plan.

    Call Rogers and change from iPhone plan to BB plan. Costs about the same, too.
