Hello. I am very much pleased to have found this wonderful site. Please i need assistance to unlock my Blackberry bold 9650.
This is my IMEI : 980058.00.801510.1
I will be waiting for the unlock code please. Thank you very much.
The thing is that The BB 9650 Bold from Verizon is already unlock and I'm using it with a local prepaid service, but when I use the *86 (voice mail service) it connects with the old company (Verizon) to the original number where the phone was active. The same thing with costumer services, balance, etc. I couldn't change the original phone number from "my number" field.
I am having the same problem. That is why I visited this forum. I successfully used an unlock code to be able to make calls. My sim card is in there and I can use AT&T to make calls from my number (with the phone set to GSM 2G & 3G), but the original phone number still shows on the screen. When I hold down "1" for voicemail, it dials the previous owner of the phone. I could not find a solution with my Blackberry Desktop Software, which someone at the AT&T store told me would help me change that original number.
You will find lot's of useful info on this great forum!
now to solve your problem try this:
Now to get rid of the activation required message/old phone number on unlocked Verizon Blackberrys
Type ##000000 and the green button or send or enter
Now Enter your real phone number and click save
It should work now
Cheers
and Happy Thanksgiving to all!
James

I did the procedure that James mentioned and worked nicelly. You must be in the phone screen, like if you want to make a call.
Even I changed the mobile country code and the mobile network code to match with company that the SIM card works. Only I have some questions. It will be necessary to change another of the fields?, for instant, what about the IMSI_S, the Home SID or the NID? Where can I get information about this settings?
As he stated, any of us unlockers on here can help!

I want to remove verizon from my black berry. i followed your instructions but when i get to sim, where do i type in the words you suggest coz just typing does not prompt me to enter a code. what is the code in case i succeed?
My friend's BB is giving her trouble and I would like to give her my old one. However, I would need to unlock because she has T-Mobile and the phone is a Verizon phone.
