I called TMO today about my account and asked the rep about the Passport and if they had a date for release yet. She said no date, but they had training on the phone last week!!!

I hope this is true. In JL's video I believe he said you can get any phone so that should include all BB's.

I think this may be legit because I had to call them about my Visual Voicemail not working on my new Z30. The lady I spoke with put me on a brief hold because she had to get the OS info for my phone. She pulled it up fast, so I assumed they had these BlackBerry model's information on hand for the devices they don't currently offer. They know mine is unlocked and seemed happy with it.
Why do you think its the Blackberry Dallas? Just curious.
There's a phone in the FCC registry with NA bands, similar to one of the other Passport models (I forget which one, but they're only different by one inconsequential LTE band.) It's hidden right now...or this is all a red herring lol.
Thurask has also seen evidence of the Dallas in the OS. He's the one who saw the band set, and since it's Northern American, it can't be the Oslo which is supposed to be an APAC-centric phone.

I don't get it. The phone is in the FCC product database or it is not. How can it be there but hidden?

The FCC ID does not show any results yet. If the documents are hidden, that's pretty common and done at the request of BB. Check out the attached letter BB submitted for the SQN100-5 as an example.
Or BB never submitted anything with this FCC ID, as the device never came to fruition or whatever it may be. That's the other possibility, pick one
Is there a difference between Dallas and Oslo? Is a "new" Passport coming to TMO or is it the same phone that released Sept 2014? TMO can't sell AT&T version, correct?

Confidential isn't the same as hidden.
I can't deal with the FCC database on a phone, but will boot my PC later and take a look. You can't sell what hasn't been tested and approved. Well you can sell the items and get fined. Yupitero MVT7100 as an example.
Just got off the phone with a TMO Blackberry tech who said she loves BlackBerry and keeps up with all the news, etc, etc with BlackBerry and TMO. She said knows rumors going around about Passport at TMO but right now nothing that the BlackBerry tech folks are being made aware about. All they have available is the Classic and anything else you can go the Amazon to Crackberry for..... now I'm bummed out again... someone confirm any news on Passport to TMO? either new version/model/name or do I bite the bullet and by last year's Passport (which I'd rather get update/new model/version if coming soon).

Are you sure she did not have it confused with the Classic? You did say "no date" which would imply she knew you were talking about an unreleased phone...but I wouldn't put it past some reps to know that the Classic is now sold by TMO.

She knew we were talking about the correct model. She mentioned the wide screen.
Maybe it's going to be released in select areas at first or just select areas period, which would mean some are trained on it while other aren't. Wouldn't that be a true assumption?
