If I purchase the Blackberry Bold 9650 from verizon, will there be a 160 character limit for SMS EVEN though I have Unlimited texting?

Why another thread on this? You already have a thread open with the same question. The 160 character limit is a limitation of the SMS system. It does not depend on the phone or carrier or text plan that you have. Search google for SMS character limit.

Yes. Some phones like my D2 automatically break SMS into multiple 160 character messages and if you have a long enough block of text, it'll send it as an mms instead.

On the BB it won't do that natively, so you need to pick up an app to do it.

    Two different things.

160 char per message is the number of characters, blank spaces etc
that can be contained in one SMS message. This includes any subject line.

Unlimited is the number of actual whole messages you can send per month. No limit.
