You will have better luck if you search yourself rather than posting a question that has been answered more times than one can count. Search for 'Sprint tethering'
welcome to the boards! as stated above, there are many threads you can find via search on how to tether. you can also try searching "tetherberry" if tethering is not on your plan.
i have done 100 + searches. Anbody, have an accurate answer, on how to make this work, or a link?
Thanks
To answer your question how to make this work, the only option you or anyone on Sprint has is to purchase tetherberry(unless of course you have a plan which allows you to add PAM to it). If you have a SE plan then it isn't possible to add PAM. Check into Tetherberry as they offer 50% off the price every so often if this is what you chose to do.
If you do a search, you'll see that maybe 2 months ago, Sprint started blocking us from doing native tethering. We have to resort to 3rd party apps like TetherBerry.
Basically if you have a smartphone and a plan with the "any mobile, any time" feature, tethering will be disabled.
Ok, just for clarification, I have two smartphone's on the family share plan of any mobile, any time. With me being on this plan, if I get the TetherBerry, will it work correctly for me on my computer?
When Sprint turned off tethering (when it was 'free'), I called Sprint and for about $10 more, switched over to a voice plan + Blackberry data package + Tethering.
Now I happily, legally use PAM.
So your paying a extra $10 a month?
Yeah, and Im totally o.k. with that. Its still better than the $130/mo I was paying with at&t! :D
I use TetherBerry. It works very well!

Yes, TetherBerry routes your data as if it was the cell phone itself that was requesting the data (not your computer). So, when you type "www.google.com" into internet explorer, it looks like you typed "www.google.com" into your blackberry's native internet browser. If they want to block your tethering this way, they would have to block the phone itself from accessing the internet.
I believe TetherBerry has a trial. You should try it to see if it works for you.
Tether (aka TetherBerry) is 50% off until January 10th!

And now supports tethering via bluetooth!
If I was to get tetherberry and I have 2 phones would it work on both phones? And how do I get the free trial version?
try going to Tether BlackBerry | BlackBerry Modem | Tether There's a link for both the free trial, and to purchase. I 'think' now that it only requires a registration code, you could bounce it back and forth from both phones, one at a time, registering each time.
Or buy two licenses, and be able to use them both at any time.
Tether uses a system where they register your PIN in their database and check it to register the program, so I don't think switching one license between two BBs will be a viable option.
Can you please let me know how it shows up on your bill? CS has no clue about this plan. Perhaps the package name of the plan?
This used to be the case. But now each account (PIN) you have now is assigned a registration code, which is to be used from this point forward if you switch phones. No more logging onto their site and changing your pin, you just register with your code, and it says 'was assigned to another device, would you like to take ownership?' and you click yes, and poof...yer done.
