The data plan has that? are you sure? Cuz i called L&R when I went up to my Tour and they said the $20 data plan is just IM,Email, Browsing...I was offered the $25 unlimited loyalty data plan as well but i turned that down lol maybe I shuda taken it cuz i heard thats not offered anymore?
ps. Those clear price plans are a JOKE..its cheaper for me 2 keep my fees since theres no plan like that on the "better" network...LAMES
CDMA til they shut that signal down in a couple years haha11-25-09 04:07 PMLike 0 - The data plan has that? are you sure? 11-26-09 08:47 AMLike 0 - I've been a Telus customer for a couple years, but I ended up pushing my contract over to someone else because I could afford it, and moved over to Koodo for a couple months with a super cheap phone.
Anyway, I just called up the L&R department today and said since I'm a valued customer and have never been on a late bill before, I want to come back...is there anything you can do for me with a new blackberry.
The guy I talked to said I had to at least make the $50.00 smartphone base for the next 12 months and then afterwords I would be able to call back with a negotiation.
I use about 200 or less minutes overall. They're mostly used on the weekend anyway, and all my friends that I usually text have blackberries; making BBM is sufficient.
We talked it over and here's what he was able to give me:
$50.00:
250 daytime minutes
Unlimited E/W - 9pm
Choice: My5 Nationwide or Double minutes or Unlimited Text
500 MB data
Voice Mail 3, Call Waiting, Conference Calling
Caller ID
PERKS
No System Access Fees or 911's
$3.00:
30 Text Msgs & Free incoming
Total: $53.00 + 13% tax (NS) = $59.89
Basically it's looking like the exact same plan as the Smartphone 50, the only thing is that they're giving me Caller ID for free. Is it worth it?12-03-09 12:22 PMLike 0
