Im so confused on what blackberry to get should i get the bold or 8900. Can you list the pros on cons if you have any of these. Thanks

I have the Bold, and absolutely love it!!

Between those two devices it pretty much comes down to 3G. If you are in an area where you have 3G then I would suggest the Bold, but if 3g isn't available in your area, or if you are constantly in a WiFi area then get the 8900. You will get a better camera with the 8900 as well, and it is a bit slimmer.

I've had both and recently bought two bolds again... I love it. I like the size better on the Bold than the 8900 or Tour.

My suggestion is to visit a store and try out both. Neither is bad. However, I chose the Bold 9000, rather than the Javelin 8900, because I found it easier to type on the larger keyboard on the Bold 9000.

I have both and prefer the Bold slightly. It comes down to your personal preferences. But the main thing you should be asking is 3G important to you?

I have an iPhone, but will give you my BlackBerry history...

I had a BlackBerry for about 3 years up until June when I got the iPhone. My last BlackBerry was the 8900. Not a bad device form factor wise, but it was built like a POS. The Bold is a brick in my opinion. If they only could of made the Bold a little narrower and thinner, it would be perfect for me form factor wise. A better browser and camera would be nice too. That brought me over to the iPhone and never looked back (long story). But if I ever go back to BlackBerry, I would probably get a Bold. And once you go 3G, you won't go back 3G is so much faster than EGDE.

Its funny. I dumped my iphone for a G1 and then dumped the G1 for an 8900. I like the 8900 better then either of them. I find the 8900 to be a well made device in no way a POS. As far as the Bold goes I would have chosen it but I checked out both phones and for me the better camera on the 8900 trumped the 3G on the Bold.

If budget isn't an issue, then it's a no brainer to get the Bold over the 8900.

8900 doesn't have 3G capabilities, the Bold gives you options down the line with the "option" to have 3G where 8900 doesn't.

Both cameras are inferior to what a real cameras should do anyways. Even though the 8900 is 3.2MP vs 2.0MP on the Bold, it's still a 3.2, far less than what you want in a real camera.

If you have time on your side, then wait for bold 2 that comes out in the near future. It has the 3.2MP camera which makes the 8900 worthless for any reason.

Like I said, if you have the extra $100, go for the bold.
