Is it just me or did AT&T stop caring about their BlackBerry users like us when they got that iPhone contract?

    Hahahahahahahaha! Good one!

I'm a small business owner and have an "account manager" that contacts me spasmodically - meaning when there is a promotion that her boss thinks she needs to push. Other than that, it's a useless position. So many sales opportunities lost... I end up having to research solutions myself because AT&T reps can't be bothered with returning calls or emails.

But add a phone line or new service? They're slobbering all over themselves for my business.

The only thing they want is new contracts and timely payments.

If I could find a carrier that actually cared about making money, I'd love 'em forever. Been with AT&T for over twenty years, but I'd leave in a heart beat for such a carrier.

Oh yeah, they're equal opportunity offenders...we have all types of phones, tablets, computers, hot spots, and services (wired and wireless). So it's not about the brand if phone - they're just really clueless.

Right about the AT&T customer service thing. I learned if you twitter rant to their customer service account they kiss a little ****.

Say how you will jump to another company and how their customer service is no good and they try to keep the negative tweets down. It has worked for me a few times.

AT&T wasn't one of the dominant carriers before the iPhone exclusive came along. This pie chart shows AT&T market share at 14% in 2003, about the same as Sprint.

So, it's not just you. The iPhone exclusive propelled AT&T into one of the big 2.5 US carriers.

I just received a phone call from a manager with AT&T and she was very pleasant but still had no answers. She claimed that she had called several other customers regarding the same complaints on lack of updates. They are aware that even Verizon has sent out the update. I just wish there was an easier way around this in lieu of installing leaks. None of the US carriers care about the loyal BlackBerry users. Still not even considering downgrading to another OS. Keep on calling customer service (no service). The tide must change!
