So, I need to go get a new blackberry, and I had time today.. but apparently no ATT in my area has them in stock any more.... this is frustrating!... oh but they have iphone and androids.. NO I WANT MY SECURITY... and my crackberry UGH, why arent they stocking these phones?

Yep. Posted same answer about 2 months ago complaining that the store near me does Not sell any BB phones just the cases.

They just stopped carrying this week.. they sold out of q10's and only on store here across town has a z10... I had checked Monday at the att near my house i called and they had 10 of each!... and people say BlackBerry doesn't sell?

Being a BB fanatic and being on AT&T is rough. I've been with AT&T since I was a sophomore in HS and my first phone was my old Curve. I'm praying they will have the BB Q20/Classic.

I had the experience at my store that employees (twice) told me they thought BlackBerry went out of business when I asked if they were going to get the Z30. And their display model of the Z10 did not work and they did not care. My slacker offline music kept getting disabled UNLESS I LEFT THE SIM CARD OUT, ATNT denied it had anything to do with them. This is why i pay through the nose for a decent internet package, and have two phones (both blackberries, both bought on ebay), so i can have my music and a phone too! Oh, i am also on contract for another year for my LG spyware/data-plan-eater, which is not used anymore, period. Yep, its no fun being on ATnT, but it is my only option unless i move.

It really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone anymore on how the carriers treat blackberry and their customers. All the carriers care about is sales period! If blackberry kept up with the other platforms as far as speed and design this conversation would not be happening, but hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel and new devices get released that can compete with other platforms.

The new thrust of BlackBerry is corporate & government

I suspect they will sell mostly direct to corporations or through company stores and less at carrier stores. I notice that carrier stores are carrying fewer models than they used to. The consumer market seems to have settled into the simple choice of Apple or Samsung.
